[AD - Contrary Love (Prev)]

I love it.

I def wish it was longer. The contrast was amazing. The beat was decent, matched the loop well. I want the bass to come in sooner though. D:

Bass?

The bass was probably the thing I liked most about this piece. The intro, starting at 0:12 when the bass lead comes, is when the piece actually started for me. I wasn't a huge fan of the drums or beginning bass.

I liked the...not sure what you'd call it at the end, around 1:04..Arpeggio? I think it fits well as a trance song, yet..it lacks the trance feel. When I think of trance I think of somewhat ambient pads played being covered and supporting the smooth leads with a drum beat that's a bit faster and holds my attention.

Definitely not bad for a WIP though, and has potential. I can definitely see this working as BiviZ said, for flash games and what not. Just finish up the end with the arpeggio. Right now it's a little awkward.

ya right now im at a stale mate with this piece ill probably get back to it in a month i that arpeggio you were talking about yes it was an arp and it was a miracle i almost didnt think of it but once i did that was when i went brain dead so i squeezed it out and set it aside

Do fix the volume. It was a good idea, but it just doesn't work when listening to it.

If you could..

Do me favor? Either turn this into a loop, because the way it ends right now is perfect for setting it to a loop, or put lyrics in and take out the lead. It kinda bothers me. -.- But for an ambient track, it would work if it were either a loop or longer. Right now it just cuts off, you see?

[[Hardstyle] The Contract]

I completely agree.

I agree with DjTapey.
The kick was very dry and could barely be heard. You have nice gabber bass, but le goes, the as far as hardstyle, doesn't sound like it. Definitely more of gabber(it's kind of a different sub-genre). Either way, great mixing, but you could have had better quality for the audio. Overall however it was very nicely done.

Epic Melody

Great job overall. I love this piece, especially with the piano in the beginning. However, I just wish you'd turn it into a hardstyle piece, because, not only do I like hardstyle, but it would easily fit in with the melody you created. Add a stronger bass and kick. I loved the snare. Anyways, it is amazing the way it is. :3

It's not Hardstyle..

It needs more bass to be hardstyle or 'harder' leads and instruments. But the melody is definitely jumpstyle. I'm not sure what to call it -.- If I could make a requst though, turn up the bass and add better instruments. :D

I do like it how it is however. :P

Not a huuuge fan of DnB, but this was pretty good. :3
I can't write an in depth review since I don't know too much about the genre, but I oved this. :D

Only thing is that it reminded me of Daft Punk's work in Tron at 1:03 :P
